Anyway, "porn" (clothed porn that is) is okay as long as it is marked NSFW in the appropriate stream. I guess Everyone's_A_Mod is not one of those streams.

The problem with JeffreyStone as I see it is that he does memes of himself and posts them all over the place, which at a certain point becomes harassment and spam.

Not to mention the memes of very young girls etc.

That's the best news I've heard in a long time. I don't know how they prevented him from commenting, but that would definitely prevent him from posting his selfies to other ImgFlippers.

If he is honest he'll be content with that, but if not, he might make another account of himself, or a proxy account.

Yeah: I was not aware that blocking the ability of certain accounts to comment was a feature of ImgFlip. It’s welcome news in this case.

With that feature and if JeffreyStone agrees to keep his selfies in just his own streams going forward, that seems like an acceptable compromise.

I would still like to see the JeffreyStone6 account deleted for being a gimmick account/harassment, if it hasn’t been deleted already. There seems to be obtuseness on the part of the Global Mods in recognizing that gimmick accounts are actually harassment when used for that express purpose. I don’t really feel like checking on the 6 account right now as you might understand.

Newsflash, it wasn't Kylie or this stream that impelled MODs to take away Jeff's comment ability that has been in place for months probably due to me contacting Olympian Product about the supposed but never verified selfies he was sending kids last year. That's common knowledge and even if you look at his profile which I don't recommend you can see he has zero comments. The owner of imgflip and the MODS of this site have been dealing with jeffrey for years and are constantly surveilling his activity. We really don't need an army of kids posting in a stream that violates TOS (i.e.targeting a specific user, threatening violence and death on a user) I'm not siding with Jeffrey, I think he's a creep and mentality unstable, not sure if he's a verified pedophile so i'm not going to incriminate him just yet until I have evidence. For now I will take the kids word for it but it's not in anyone's power not even the owner to stop him making new accounts. I think the publicity you're all giving him is just making matters worse to be honest

--What you describe as "common knowledge" about the existence of a comment-blocking feature on ImgFlip and its implementation with respect to JeffreyStone's account(s) was not known to me or UniformVictor and probably many others here if you asked. In fact, you're the only one who has informed me of this to date. I welcome the news that it has been in place for months.

--What you call "publicity" for JeffreyStone, I call raising awareness.

--We still don't know for sure who runs JeffreyStone6, the gimmick account whose flurry of stream-following appears to have ignited or at least fueled this latest panic. Though we have our suspicions.

--Looking for verified evidence of JeffreyStone's pedophilia is beside the point. It already exists. Check some of the memes he's submitted in the past sexualizing very young girls in braces and incorporating father-daughter fantasies and the like. Not sure why the line has to be drawn at the extreme of literally sending nudes to minors.

--So: Rather than the series of awkward compromises and constant surveillance of JeffreyStone's accounts over a period of years, the Mods could have solved this problem a long time ago by permabanning him for harassment, spam, abuse, and yeah, pedophilia.

In the meantime, many of us poor unwashed ImgFlippers in the "mob" are going to do our best to -- ahem -- help the Mods reach the same conclusions.

Finally: Assuming he is a pedo (as you have asked me to do, and there is evidence to support it), the solution to this is simple. A permaban for Jeff on the basis of harassment, spam, abuse, etc.

Since nobody seems to know what to do, I will be posting some guidelines on how to properly collect evidence. These guidelines if followed to the letter will result in us getting the evidence we need to get rid of him, maybe even lock him up. Well, even if you think what he's done so far isn't sufficient (and again I'm in the dark as to his entire history), it seems to me that the risk of JeffreyStone committing some sort of violation in the future is too high to really be worth it.

Many here have labeled him a "pedo." I think there is evidence of that but can't draw a conclusion. I have never met the man in real life. I am not a trained psychologist. I have no idea whether he actually has sex with children, or if the borderline content he posts about girls in braces and fathers eyeing up their daughters is all in his head. So I'm skeptical of the locking him up thing.

ImgFlip is not a prosecutor's office. The platform has no obligation to protect others as I see it. Only its own.

His account was deleted and the Comment block was implemented as soon as his next account cropped up. You don't see the interactions the global or community mods have with eachother so stop assuming they're just sitting on their butts. And for heavens sake stop accusing them of making accounts like the one they are constantly deleting. I'm sure its just Jeffrey or a close friend of his if he claims it's not him.

Note Olympian and I teamed up to put a stop to Jeffrey long before he was made a community mod.

Just a few questions I have that will probably never be answered.

Gimmick accounts used for the express purpose of harassing or impersonating other memers are, or ought to be, a TOS violation. Harassment, abuse, spam, whatever you want to call it. It's an easy call.

Not to mention KylieSUCKS.

I have seen many, many easy calls missed over the past few months so excuse my skepticism.

Looks to me your making this about yourself more than out of genuine concern for the kids since 3 of the 4 incidents you mentioned you seem to think are targeting you. And you know there's no way for even a moderator to see who owns an alt account.

It's a list of examples. My top concern is JeffreyStone6; I am pointing out that the apparent tolerance of this gimmick account is part of a larger pattern.

Where there is harassment and abuse occurring by means of a gimmick account, then a complaint and simple denial by the targeted memer that a gimmick account belongs to them ought to be sufficient to support action.

The Mods have a difficult time recognizing harassment and cyberbullying generally, so I am focusing for now on the discrete issue of gimmick accounts as it should be an even easier call.

Please give confirmed examples of harassment and abuse by any of Jeffrey's accounts. He posts distasteful stuff but he can't comment, people are free to not approve any image from any user in their streams.

I'm not going to repost any of his content here, but I'll describe it:

--Memes featuring young girls in braces accompanied by sexualizing language and/or father-daughter fantasies constitutes abuse from a content perspective.
--Continual submissions of panty selfies and/or pedophilic memes of the type described above, even after repeated rejections and detailed explanations that such content is not welcome, constitutes harassment of Stream Mods. Why? You still have to look at such disgusting images in order to disapprove them. Personal example: Wifey saw me disapproving a JeffreyStone meme (I spent time giving him a more detailed explanation than he was really entitled to, in the hopes that it would stop), and she lost her shit.
--Several stream Mods who prefer to have auto-approval on their streams chose to "lock down" their streams after being followed by JeffreyStone6 and therefore now have to manually approve images. I have also seen Stream Descriptions modified to state that JeffreyStone is not welcome. While I can't state for certain that this constitutes "harassment," it certainly does make ImgFlip "less fun for other people."

Those are just the highlights of what I know about. Again, admittedly, the Global Mods have access to more information and examples over a period of years. I've asked what got previous account(s) deleted and gotten crickets. But I can't imagine that the information I'm in the dark about works to his benefit.

Jeffrey6 has self deleted and All of Jeffery5 public submissions have been deleted.

Sort of like states and Covid, it seems to me every Stream Mod has a slightly different definition of "lockdown."

Turning off auto-feature was one aspect. Some streams weren't allowing new Mods.
