"Perhaps if you properly situated a statement like “white lives matter” or “all lives matter,” as I have done, rather than simply offering it as a way of shouting down discussion of “black lives matter,” as is typically done by conservatives, then you would encounter less opposition and calls of racism."
No, it wouldn't.
"It is proper to raise the striking similarities of white-on-white vs. black-on-black crime statistics in order to show that the latter is a racist trope, and apparently an excuse for white conservatives to feel justified in doing nothing to raise the social and economic standing of blacks."
Actually, I have raised awareness of the biggest plight in the black community, black on black crime. The fact you ignore it as nothing more than some racist bullshit brought up by the right, is sad and disturbing. It's race baiting at the least and outright racist at its worst.
"But as a matter of fact, some of the social issues poor whites encounter (e.g. addiction, lack of access to job opportunities and education) are the same as the issues that poor blacks encounter. Some are different (e.g. police brutality seems to be more common against blacks)."
I was with you at the first part of that paragraph, but you lost me at the end. There is no real evidence that police target black people at a higher rate than whites. In fact, it's the other way around. And don't give me that bullshit argument that more whites are killed by cops than blacks because there's a lot more whites. The percentages don't show that.
"We can’t exclude any evidence as we search for solutions to social problems affecting any community."
Except again, this meme is about black lives and abortions within the black community, which is far higher than that in any other race. That's a fact you leftists like to hide for some reason. Maybe because you don't think there's anything wrong with killing the unborn. But good job in trying to flip the subject matter in a different direction. You got me for a moment. The ol' bait and switch.
