Junteenth is a Texas thing.
Only in the past few months has anyone out of Texas celebrated it.
I even heard some idiot on the news saying it was the day the slaves were freed. Silly idiot.

I never even heard about this Juneteenth until this year

Apparently it’s a celebration of the day that the Republicans freed the slaves from the Democrats.

Technically it’s the date Texas freed its slaves. Texas was the last Southern state to free its slaves.

Ywah it was also almost 3 years late because it took them that long to get the news.
