For those that don't know, GESARA (global) and NESARA (US) was a set of proposed economic reforms suggested during the 1990s by Harvey Barnard. Barnard claimed that the proposals, which included replacing the income tax with a national sales tax, abolishing compound interest on secured loans, and returning to a bimetallic currency, would result in 0% inflation and a more stable economy. It's like a Biblical jubilee. Critics call it a cult-like conspiracy theory. Supposedly it was passed and suppressed by GW Bush and the Supreme Court. The truth is it was never introduced before Congress.
Some NESARA supporters also make the claim that otherworldly beings are working to get NESARA announced. These include a "channeled" cosmic being called "Hatonn" (an android Pleiadean), and another named Sananda. Some say NESARA is a "galactic name" of Ascended Master Jesus, which he uses in his role as Commander-in-Chief of the Ashtar Command flying saucer fleet. No, I'm not kidding.
Honestly, it's an interesting concept, but those pushing it sound like total whack-jobs.
