Curious, since the majority of abortions are tied to poverty level, and last anyone in the real world checked, no party affilation is required, that assertion is simply stupid.

Who is "we"?

1) I've read George "born again christian" Bush's book Decision points several times. It's all about 'the sanctity of life' except for the (colored) people in third world countries who have natural resources we want. The opioid crisis is directly linked to our ongoing military presence in Afghanistan. Hundreds of thousands have died in Iraq for oil and gas. Isis was first backed by us because Asad chose for Putin. Our soldiers aren't getting the treatment they need when they get home!
But republicans keep bitching about abortions. First look at the people with whom the planet you share. See if they aren't in peril because of our policies.
2) we've seen an increase of 80 million people in the last two decades. 330 million Americans, and that's not even taking in account the illegals. If everybody wants to enjoy the same lifestyle - and we all have the right to strive for that- our ecosystem will collapse.

So yeah if you have something against abortion maybe you should also consider our wars and the (global) population explosion of the last decades...
