In the history of the world, there has never been a nation that didn't have slavery. An interesting study out of Ohio State showed that 1 million white Christians were slaves to Muslims between 1530 and 1780. That’s my point. There’s been slavery since the beginning of human civilization. We should be fighting slavery as it exists right now, not erasing our history to accommodate some ideology
