History from statues? Statues are artifacts to show a representation of the past. Since they are old, they are historic. Don't be afraid of statues. They won't bite. They may hurt the fragile little snowflakes' minds, but they don't bite.

Not afraid them. Also, all Confederate statues erected today were done so during the Jim Crow era. They aren't even from the brief 5 year time of the Confederacy itself. Which makes them replicas (a.k.a. worthless) and they will do just fine in a museum somewhere. Not in public view. Confederate leaders were traitors to the U.S. and therefore should not be idolized with public monument. You don't see any Statues of George Washington in England do you? No, because he was a traitor to the crown. Good day, sir. Enjoy your monument of hate while you still can.

That's not always true about statues. Wspecially when protesting vandals are too stupid to realise that if you pull them down onto yourself you're gonna get hurt.

At one point, yes. However the actions of theirs that made them historical figures were committed after they seceded and they were not American when they died. So, in conclusion, if the defining moments of your life were declaring yourself NOT a member of the Union, I think we should respect their right to not be American.

Also, if you don't see the need to remove these eye sores from public property (black tax dollars literally fund the monuments to the men who enslaved them) then by all means Secede! Because as rich as the heritage of the Confederacy is to y'all folk... Destroying the Confederacy is for those of us Yanks.
