"This a word point has been brought up before. A five year old is developed enough to survive outside the womb. A five week old embryo isn't."
Say you go deep sea diving with an oxygen tank. If you dive down far enough, you would probably not be able to survive without the oxygen tank. Since you cannot survive on your own, does that mean that you do not deserve to live?
Also, newborn babies cannot survive on their own without virtually constant care from an adult. Since newborn babies cannot survive on their own, does that mean that they do not deserve to live?
In addition, some very old people require constant care from others to survive. Does that mean that they do not deserve to live?
And what about people in hospitals suffering from critical conditions? They require life support and constant care from doctors. Since they cannot survive on their own, that mean that they do not deserve to live?
