Most grapes are sour unless genetically altered. Concord grapes use to be very sour. They were designed to be sweeter using the old fashion way of selective breading (planting in this case)

I've seen the pre-cultivated watermelons, but not potatoes. Do yall have muscadines up there? Down here they grow wild and are basically wild grapes, absolutely delicious. Some folks farm them and they grow twice the size, but they'll never be as sweet as the wild ones.

I've had em before, their quite common in Poland. I remember as I kid I loved to eat em, haven't ate one in a long time. I do know the Polish name for em but you can find em also in UK, that's if you know where to find em. 😄
