Is this comedy? Because he looks remarkably alert for someone older than 156 years old who has been injured by police. And assuming he's not actually 170 something years old he must have been fighting in the civil war from his mothers womb in 1864. He was also doing remarkably well in 1939-45 to fight in world war 2 as a man older than 65 years. He was a very rare enlisting obviously but as your story goes he is an extraordinary man.
