That's the whole problem with the entire sequel trilogy aside from Star Wars Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker trying way too hard to be like Avengers: Endgame!

In other words: Star Wars Episode VII - The Force Awakens is just a rehash of Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope (The worst part is that J.J. Abrams said that rehashing A New Hope was intentional), Star Wars Episode VIII - The Last Jedi had no sense of direction, had pointless characters such as Rose Tico and a confusing plot. and finally Star Wars Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker is just trying to be like Avengers: Endgame (when Palpatine says "I am all the Sith", it copies Thanos saying "I am Inevitable". and when Rey says "And I am all the Jedi" it copies Iron Man saying "and I am Iron Man", Rey using two lightsabers copies Iron Man snapping his fingers form the Infinity Gauntlet. the way Palpatine died in Episode IX copied the way Thanos died) and it also pandered towards fans and nostalgia (but Chewbacca at least got a medal and John Williams does the most incredible music for any movie).

Nice! Yeah, that is all true...Have you watched the Youtuber "Robot head"? He is dirty, but I watch his episodes whenever a new star wars movie comes out.

This sums up why Kathleen Kennedy should be fired from Lucasfilm.

Star Wars is way much better back then, a lot of truth you really said.

The Rise of Skywalker tried WAY too hard to be like Avengers: Endgame, and it was heavily advertised as the ending to the Skywalker Saga, my response to that after seeing how bad Rise of Skywalker (and the sequel trilogy as a whole)? "Sorry Disney but we already have a satisfying conclusion to Star Wars, and it's called 'Return of the Jedi'"
