Sarcastic Putin | PART 2 OF 2 | image tagged in sarcastic putin | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
6. The "adults in the room" you're referring to are the crooked establishment types, so I don't really care what they have to say. Purge them out and get in people who actually care about helping people. Say what you will about AOC, Dan Crenshaw, Matt Gaetz, Ted Cruz, or Tulsi Gabbard, but they are far better than the crony establishment types like Pelosi, Schumer, McConnell, Romney, or Graham.

7. No he hasn't. Even Robert Mueller found there wasn't enough evidence to convict Trump on the Russiagate hoax. Russiagate 2: Ukrainian Boogaloo was another hoax along the similar lines. Only difference was the Democrats controlled the House so they did their partisan thing and impeached. As for mail-in voting? All I have to do is be a Post Office employee, find a box of ballots and hide it somewhere. Boom, I may have just changed the results of an election. Also, people move. The state isn't going to necessarily have your new address on file and will then send your ballot to the wrong address. If you're interested in voting, it's not that hard to go to your nearest polling location and vote.

8. Here are some valid criticisms of Trump: He's an asshole, he isn't a good role model, he tweets too much, he's overweight, he hasn't done near enough to address online censorship, he should've pulled us out of the Middle East completely, he should not have shot missiles into Syria, he should not have drone striked that Iranian general, he's boorish, and he's impulsive. If Democrats focused on this stuff instead of Russiagate or various other absurdities, Joe Biden would most likely win the election.

9. Even Trump himself doesn't deny this. He even said "I'm a mean guy, but I work for you" fairly recently. Nobody voted for him because he's such a nice individual. They voted for him because he's an asshole who takes crap from no one.

10. Where is the proof he's a racist? Nobody is able to answer this with actual proof he's a racist. Show me what he's said or done that is actually racist.

Can’t seem to find the original meme in this stream. Here it is again. | image tagged in trump impeachment, impeach trump, impeachment, conservative logic, republicans, impeach | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Thank you for taking the time to address me point by point! This is what “politics” should be about.

I already spent much time on this meme and properly replying to you will take even longer. I hope to give a full response sometime this weekend.

For now I’ll just address a sub-part of #7: re: The idea Ukrainegate was just a “Boogaloo” of Russiagate.

I made the meme above awhile ago. Interestingly I found it on a Google search, but when I click the link to its original incarnation in ImgFlip it is broken.

imgflip.com/m/Cringe_Hard/tag/impeachment+pattern?sort=top-30d

Anyway: I find it rich of Republicans to complain of a “pattern” of investigating Trump when Trump and his officials themselves are the ones who keep stepping in these waters.

Indeed, you’re right Russiagate didn’t find direct evidence of collusion by Trump himself. Good for him: and for that reason, no impeachment resulted.

However, the probe turned up enough evidence of Russian election interference generally (and other lawbreaking) to result in 37 indictments, 7 convictions, and 5 prison sentences. Heck, let’s not forget the porn star payoffs by Cohen that most definitely didn’t involve any direction from Trump himself (wink wink). A small concern compared to conspiring with Russia, but still a campaign finance violation. Manafort the Trump campaign chair was dinged on tax fraud etc. Bottom-line: Mueller did his job, did it well, and this wasn’t a hoax.

Then Trump went and made the infamous Zelensky call the day after Mueller’s congressional testimony. You can’t make this stuff up.

So when it came to Ukraine, we actually had smoking-gun evidence of Trump himself pressuring the Ukrainian President re: Biden, which is why impeachment then resulted. (There were other backdoor channels by Giuliani, etc.) Still Republicans didn’t care and aided and abetted every effort to obstruct the investigation.

This election interference stuff is complex and flies over the heads of most Americans (unlike the easy-to-grasp crimes of breaking and entering & wiretapping: see Watergate), but that is no reason not to investigate it, document it, and call it out.

Strip away every other complaint about Trump that I’ve listed, and Ukrainegate alone is enough to find Trump unworthy to hold the office of President, as Senate Democrats and Sen. Romney found.

Other moderate Republicans offered some version of “let the voters decide.” But that argument eviscerates impeachment.

Sarcastic Putin | PART 1 OF 2 | image tagged in sarcastic putin | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
1. Yeah, he's got an ego. Not necessarily a fan of it, but if I have to choose between Trump's personality and the personality of either Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden, Trump is the easy pick.

2. Yes, I would prefer he dial back on Twitter. I think most of his supporters would agree he's hurting himself with what he tweets. Twitter still should not be getting involved in the political process like this because it's where the national conversation is happening and if your platform is the default for the national conversation, you shouldn't be getting involved like this. Now what do I think Trump should have done? I think he should have just deleted his Twitter and joined a platform that would be more favorable to him like Gab or Minds. That would force the media companies to go to the new platform to cover Trump and take away a chunk of the Silicon Valley social media stranglehold.

3. The Republican Party certainly has been changing, as has the Democrat Party to cater to the wants and needs of what the two largest vocal factions of what Americans want. The Democrats are catering to woke Twitter intersectional types as well as people who are purely anti-Trump. Meanwhile the Republicans from what I've seen is shifting to the left to cater to moderates and disaffected liberals. As someone who is center right, I definitely align a lot more with the Republicans today than I did ten years ago.

4. Why should he be forced to hire ineffective establishment types who just want to drag him down? He's an anti-establishment player, hiring establishment figures seems a bit counter-intuitive, don't you think? I'm not going to hire someone who doesn't share my goals, that would be stupid. There's an argument to be made about nepotism, but do you know for sure there are others who wanted the job who were more qualified, but didn't get the job?

5. Yes, he's fired whistleblowers. When you work in a field where you have access to confidential information and you leak that information, you get fired. Queue surprised pikachu face. As for people applauding it? Just look at the mixed reactions Edward Snowden still gets to this day for whistleblowing about the NSA. It's still controversial to this day. There are plenty of arguments for why things should or shouldn't be leaked.

1. Irrelevant. Nice try to save it with the follow-up comment. He's just more open and transparent about it than say... president Obama was.
2. Irrelevant. Please don't act like he's supposed to know every phrase ever uttered by a racist, because you know damn well you'd use that against him, too.
3. False. The party of five years ago was a losing party with a non-winning message. It's currently a populist party. That BS about a revolving cast of characters and nothing substantial is a made up KF talking point.
4. Draining the swamp.
5. You wouldn't complain if a Democrat president did that... or did you complain when president Obama fired so many people right after taking office?
6. Sketchy. There have been never-Trumpers from the jump.
7. HAH!!! This is the most hilarious one yet. Contacts with the Russians were legitimate. Regarding illegal ballots, he's prone to exaggeration, but you can bet there were plenty of illegal ballots cast. How many dead people voted?? Ukrainian conduct rightfully resulted in impeachment? Sorry, KF, that's an OPINION. If you don't think mail in ballots will lead to voter fraud, then you're either in denial, or actually stupid. I'm pretty sure it's the former.
8. Again, your OPINION stated as fact. Pretty weak, KF. I can't speak for all Trump supporters, but LEGITIMATE criticism of him is more than welcome and does not bother me one bit. Oh, btw, don't you recall now president Obama would bristle and get a sour face when a question was asked that he took as criticism? Then, the patronizing answers were spectacular! A classic case of passive aggressive anger, but you seem to have conveniently forgotten that. The second part is somewhat accurate, but name a time when one of those #FakeNews stories turned out to be true. Oh wait, you already tried in point # 7 with the lies about Russian collusion (do YOU at least, know the difference between Russian interference and Trump colluding... because there's a UUUGE difference.
9. Well, there you go again. I assume this is based on all the time you've spent with him... I mean personally, ya know.
10. Again, opinion stated as fact.

Quite honestly KF, I would have expected better from you. We can probably chalk up this litany of BS and lies to an alcohol fueled inspiration, as opposed to a rational one in which you could have researched issues and come up with facts instead of stating your opinions as facts.
