Stop the PRESENTISM ideology. Judging history by today's culture and values not only shows ignorance but is condemned by historians. Of course, there were atrocities by people in history--communism/socialism killed over 200 million in the last century, Congolese 15 mill, Ethiopia 6 mill, Zulus 2 mill, and this list goes on endlessly. Countries and races killed. Historically, the USA has one of the lowest numbers. Killing is inhumanity to man. Nobody disagrees with that. But to paint white people as racists for their past also paint you as a racist. Think about it

Communism killed ALMOST 100 million (94, to be precise) according to that story with an agenda which you are referring to. Intentionally? Is famine intentional, of which half those numbers were? Congolese 15 million were killed by the policies of King Leopold II of Belgium, him being literally the sole owner of the Congo. Do you know where Belgium is?

Ethiopia 6 million? Really? When was this? How? Why? You're referring to 3 million displaced by ethnic fighting, not killed, and not "6 mill"

Zulus 2 million? Was that anywhere near the numbers of Africans killed courtesy of Cecil Rhodes's policies, one ending in 1994 (Apartheid)? How's that for the last century?

You have any idea how mnay people in India died because of British rule? Ever heard of the Persian Famine of 1917 - 1919 in which half or more of the country starved to death while watching the food it grew itself carted out to feed the British? Do you know how many Chinese died in the British war to force them to get hooked on heroin for British profit? Have any idea how many other Asians died over British, Dutch, and Portugese wars over frikkin cloves and other spices? CLOVES! Africans for ivory and diamonds, oh, and slaves?

Historically, the USA has one of the LOWEST of numbers? Sure that will comfort the 8.4 million Native Americans, millions of African slaves and their descendents, Mexicans, Flipinos, Puerto Ricans, Hawaiians and people from assorted other territories that died for our Flag to be planted on them thar hills.

Killing for no reason other than profit IS inhumanity to man. Nobody is disagreeing with that. But to whitewash what 'white' people did with presentism, revionism, and selective whataboutism for the sake of dodging responsibility while pointing that bloodied finger at others is simply disengenuous and contrived silliness. Blood is blood regardless who spilled it, even by those who've killed more people on the planet in the last century or two than by all others ever have COMBINED.

The US is roughly 244 yrs old, in that short time they have committed mass genocide of Native Americans, dropped atomic bombs in Japan and the Marshall Islands and traded and enslaved millions of Africans for their own economic gain, and a few wars in Vietnam, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and coups in Chile, Iran etc But, you're right Orlando, it's all fixed now, nothing to learn. No need to discuss, dissect and judge the actions of the past to learn from the mistakes that were made. Its all gravy.
