That's interesting, but the article fails to mention most farmers have been subsidized for years before Trump and they would all fail without the subsidies.
They do admit about halfway through the article that farmers prices are going down because China is not buying their goods during the trade war. With the new agreement China is going to buy more crops than US farmers can make.
So no, it's not the tariffs. It's the renegotiation of the trade deal with China that caused farmers to go bankrupt.
