I'd say that there are 40-50% of the protesters wearing masks. As for social distancing, almost none of them are following the guidelines that the speculative CDC created. Nearly every video of the protests shows people shoulder to shoulder, and many times right in the faces of police officers. There may be some who are socially distancing during the protests, but the nature of protesting (gathering together in large groups, shouting for hours, sharing water, etc) itself does not jibe with social distancing. Protesting is very social and it's also represented by massive groups of people. Even if everyone was socially distancing by the 6' the speculative CDC calls for, it would not make a bit of a difference. As I'm sure you're aware, SARS-COV-2 spreads most easily via aerosol. There is simply no stopping the spread of it when you have hundreds of thousands/millions of people gathering in groups in the thousands or even more and screaming for hours.
Maybe "some" are following the CDC guidelines, but the majority are not. That basically negates anything that the responsible protesters did to prevent the spread of disease. There is a crazy double standard going on in this country, and a lot of it has to do with people pandering to people who complain. Some complaints are valid (i.e. police brutality), but some are not (allowing Representatives to wear hats/head coverings; see - Ilhan Omar). A rule banning hats and head coverings was changed as soon as the democrats had control of the House. That is seriously the first thing they did. That is the definition of pandering and double standards.
