Interesting note about all of the comments so far... Not one commenter has actually argued against the point of the meme. Ad hominems and red herrings. Classic.

If we were able to put every Republican on another planet, they would be at each other’s throats in 5 minutes

I literally am friends with someone who interacts with cops on a daily basis... They are pro Trump and watch Fox News.

Interesting argument. You're saying that the only way to know something is if you experience it directly? If that's your argument, how can you trust your own eyes? Can anyone know anything?

You discredit my comment by saying it's hearsay, therefore you're saying it cant be trusted, therefore the question arises what you think CAN be trusted.

Don't be so sensitive. I wasn't putting words in your mouth. I extended your logic and asked a question.

If I resented being challenged, I wouldn't have posted a public meme, and I wouldn't be responding.
If you said that about me, I would respond directly to the line of logic that led you there instead of waxing about someone putting words in my mouth. Show me how bringing up hearsay DOESN'T mean that you think the comment can't be trusted.

Why ask if it's hearsay if not to discredit it? In terms of getting a sense of reality (ethics concerns are a different discussion), it doesn't matter HOW you find out information as long as it's true. There was literally no reason to bring up the idea of hearsay. It's either true or it's not.
So, I stand by what I said until you prove to me that you had some other argumentative reason for bringing up point about hearsay. As of right now, it's either a) irrelevant or b) you brought it up to discredit it.
By running with the line of logic mentioned above, I was giving you credit and assuming that what you had to say about hearsay was relevant. If you brought it up without the purpose of trying to move the discussion along, I guess I don't get to give you the compliment of having the ability to stay on topic.

As something of a literalist myself, I know to look out for literalism. You asked the question for a reason. What purpose would have for "educating" me? That doesn't further the discussion. You are trying to claim, in the middle of an argument, that you were attempting to educate me about hearsay with the statement "you know that's hearsay... right?". That is not educational in that context. AND EVEN IF IT WAS, you're backing yourself into a corner because, once again, WHY did you need to educate me about hearsay if not to try to show that my use of it was invalid? You're PROVING my point OR you're showing that bringing up the idea of hearsay had nothing to do with the argument which proves, once again, that you're not actually arguing against the TRUTH that I know of police who watch Fox News and support Trump. You're simply trying to discredit the source.
But here's the cool thing. The very fact that you aren't arguing on topic shows you recognize that watching Fox News is problematic. goodonya.

Timb's entire arguments consist of endless meanderings regarding semantics, accusations of logical fallacies he's committing while accusing you of them, selective partial quotes from the Founding Fathers leaving off the inconvenient parts which just so happen to contradict his position, and calling the other person, "you leftist," which means he has nothing to refute what you're saying with.

What's ridiculous about you and the rest of you Jim Jones cultish fake RepubliKKKlans is that Trump is so clearly and obviously corrupt. He lies like it is going out of business, and no smart person looking at the evidence would claim otherwise. As far as his Xtian cred, the man cheated on EVERY wife. He's divorced every one but the last (just give that time). He was even caught bragging on audio tape about the women he was assaulting, and a housewife he was cheating on, while his current wife was 3 months pregnant with Barron. He instructs to spend more $$$ than any previous administration.

Isn't govt spending BAD? He uses the federal government oppressively and forcibly every chance he gets.

Claiming Obama wasn't born here isn't just the height of retarded, it's lame coded racism that exposes his racist attitudes. Not that you need that, Trump's been openly and publicly racist his whole life.

And he cozies up to Putin, a KGB pedophile goon who was proven to be meddling with our elections.

Weren't the commies our enemies?

Trump is everything a Republican should be against. And now that you anti-government types finally have a real life oppressive corrupt pro-government asshole in office that was proven to conspire with the enemy, what do you guys do? You don't revolt, no, you defend him! XD So, let's be honest. You f a g s are NOT anti-government. You are anti-social, like in the clinical sense, as in anti-social personality disorder (read: sociopaths). You are anti-civilization. You dipsh*ts even pose as Antifa trying to infiltrate peaceful protests and incite violence. You sell out every chance you get. And with the help of Russian trolls, you internet psychos are infecting every aspect of American life, and are too dishonest and corrupt to acknowledge it. And for what? To help a sociopathic billionaire who could care less about you and has done NOTHING for you practically speaking? The real kicker is that Trump was a former liberal and registered democrat who voted for Clinton TWICE. He's just an opportunist using you and he will blame you all and turn on you when his back is against the wall. Such a shame of lost opportunity. America could COME TOGETHER to topple this clearly corrupt man but you'd have to care MORE about America and the idea of democracy itself than your own disease egos. Trump and you cultish RepubliKKKlan followers are what the founding fathers were fighting against when they waged the American revolution.(1/2)

(cont. from above) I expect that irony to be lost on you.

So there is no point trying to convert you close-minded anti-intellectual psychopaths. I only mention everything above to embarrass you and string up your failed ideology and crimes for the world to see. You fake RepubliKKKlan morons are not aiming for discourse. You idiots are engaging essentially in the internet version of a street fight. And a fight is now what you got. Just like you pussies can arm yourself with the 2nd amendment with BIG guns to make up for your SMALL d i c k s, the rest of us can arm ourselves as well and save America in this new revolution against your fascist King Trump.

The only proper response is to tell you racist Putin-loving traitors to f*** off, punch you in the face here with words and elsewhere for real if necessary, and vote your moron King out of office, which is not all but certain. And when you assholes attempt an insurrection after Trump's monarchy is properly deposed, then we gladly will LOCK YOU UP.

And now YOU have been educated :) (2/2)

you're welcome to hurl whatever epithets at me, but please avoid using ones related to the bullying of people with disabilities.

liberism is a mental illness itself so no matter what i say it's calling out a disability. and i'm not bullying, im just putting it as it is

using any reference to the "r-word" is bullying. It is a deliberate attempt to harm someone for your own personal emotional gain, treating someone else as less than you.

i have no personal gain from calling anyone anything, and all people, regardless of political views, are equal. so... how am i bullying?
1 up, 4y,

Your personal gain is placing yourself above someone else. You believe me inferior and you use a term deliberately designed to call me inferior. That gives you elevated status.
If you want to call me sick, that's an argument that you can make. Use words that actually mean "sickness". "Libtard" means "you're inferior to me because you are a liberal and your brain isn't as fast as mine."
If you want to call me sick, call me "ill", "sick snowflake", whatever you want that means that. I don't care. I've been called a lot of things in my lifetime, and by people whose opinion truly matters to me.
But you shouldn't bully. Libtard is a bullying word.
If you think someone is sick, and you call them that, you're still treating them as a human being. A doctor doesn't devalue a person by calling them sick.
You devalue someone when you use the term "libtard". It reflects very poorly on you.

You can't disagree with a fact. You either accept it or you don't.
"Libtard" is a bullying term. By its very definition. I don't car if you apologize or not. My feeling aren't hurt. But I suggest that you refrain from using it in the future. To reiterate, you reflect very poorly upon yourself.
If you ever have a family member who has M.R., Downs Syndrome, CP, or whatever, you may feel rather guilty if you remember that you used this term to try to insult someone.
This might sound odd, but I'm trying to look out for you.

Look, I suspect that part of the reason that you hate "liberals" is because of comments like mine above... It sucks to have someone tell us that we are wrong. But I humbly (at least I'm trying to be humble) ask that you consider this...
It's ok to be wrong sometimes. I'm wrong all the time. I make mistakes. When someone calls you out on something, they're the ones who truly care about you. Because they want you to be better. Those who enable our bad behavior keep us from being the best that we can be.
I'm not your enemy, king_yeet15. And you're not mine. Our true friends want us to be our best selves. Our enemies are often the people we think are nicest to us.
Don't think that because I defend a meme you don't like that I stop caring about you.
