I'm at a total loss as to what you THINK "flattening the curve" means, but I'll tell you right now - it looks like this. This is what the United States has failed to do.

No! You show a bell curve. Not flat, but declining. The professed goal was officially to flatten it. Not end the virus’ inflection, as that is impossible. The flattening was to drag out the inflections over a long period of time.

And you get that this is the daily infections, right? The number of active cases is a different graph entirely.

Of coarse. Until 50-70% of America is exposed and has antibodies to resist it, that is how the virus works.

Number of cases is useless data. It depends on how many tests are done, and cannot detect the presence of any actual sars-cov-2 virus, let alone viral load. There are over 100 different types of viruses circulating around the world at all times. It is common to be "infected with" (exposed to) viruses every single day.

Viruses don't spike. The data is shite. 99% of "covid deaths" are old people who died from serious illnesses. There is no test available which can detect any sars-cov-2 virus, only generic antibodies or fragments of contaminated material.
