Almost all large cities are controlled by the Democrat party who hires the police and sets the policy. They protect the police through the union and the cop should have not been allowed out on patrol with the reported issues he had. The unions need to stop protecting bad cops, teachers and city workers that do wrong and should be allowed to be fired like the private sector. It is a democrat problem along with the unions that support them.
