Arguably, we're already an oligarchical democracy. And communism is already oligarchical in nature.

Businesses asking you to wear a mask to prevent the spread of a virus far deadlier than anything we've seen in 100 years is not tyranny.

If government hates the constitution, then our slavery is already assured. For all we have to do to become slaves if for the government to find a reason to call us criminals. As it is written in the 13th Amendment...

"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Meaning slavery is fine, so long as it's used as a punishment. And who decides when a crime is committed? Why, government of course.

Especially a government not checked and balanced properly by the public.
