1. As an independent, I hate the democrats just as much as I hate the republicans, but it is ludicrous to assume that democrats have a nefarious motive to keep people indoors. 2. Anyone who says covid 19 is as bad as the cold should be summarily dismissed. The cold is many times less lethal, it’s hospitalization rate is really low compared to covid 19 and it’s r naught is 2-3 while covid 19’s is up to 5.7.

Fair enough. I just took issue with you saying that covid 19 is as bad as the flu.

According to the CDC its only slightly worse than the yearly flu now.

The only info I found from the CDC to back your point is them saying the death rate of covid 19 is 0.4%, which is still twice that of the flu. Even if covid has the same death rate as the flu, it’s still many times more dangerous because it’s more contagious and there is no vaccine yet.

We’ll go back to the lowest unemployment rate in your lifetime soon enough. This is just temporary. The number of people who succumb to a pandemic is not the fault of either president. That’s the point.
