Plus, you just chose some poor examples, even if you could make a connection between them. Why? Because we clearly, as a society, do not care about saving peoples' lives from car accidents. If we did, we would be travelling at 15 mph down the freeway.

Which only proves that we do trade peoples' lives for other things that we consider important, all the time. In this case, the convenience of high speed automobile travel for the many, has been deemed to clearly outweigh the importance of the lives of the few (relatively) who are killed in automobile accidents.

Sort of blows the entire liberal logic for locking us down and destroying the economy.
