Whatever happened to the old Imgflip community where we joked and had fun commenting on good memes?

I've not been around on ImgFlip as long as you, so I dunno

But if many Flippers are now being vocal about their experiences with cyberbullying, it's probably because they want ImgFlip to be exactly this: "joking and having fun commenting on good memes"

Positivity movement? I'm not mocking that, whatever that is.

I'm just sick and tired of a bunch of kids whining on this site and anything that is remotely negative gets met with them calling it hate and spam and how they'll cut themselves because they're "being bullied." Has nothing to do with the "positivity movement."

Not whining, just pointing out the stupidity and the site going down the drain because of it. But you weren't here pre 2018 so you wouldn't understand it fully. I've been here since 2013 so I know how it's changed so much.

Anyway: Anyone who's been here for any period of time can tell you that ImgFlip depends on creativity first and foremost. I would submit that toxic hate hinders rather than promotes that.

I am seeing blocked comments so I can only assume my most persistent troll has entered the chat. A self-proclaimed ImgFlip expert who pretty much just lurks in the comments sections of other memers' memes and does not really submit his own memes for featuring at all. With the exception of one notable and notorious stream! You may have heard of it

I get it. While I don't support blatant bullying, these kids should look for a safe site to play on. This place use to rock some of the best sparring of adults I have been able to find in a long time. We didn't worry about someone being sensitive, you post here you were fair game and the best loved that game.
