Manitoba hwys suck, sask and alberta aren't bad and lower mainland BC are really nice. Part of the problem is the drastic weather changes, permafrost, frost heaves etc. The richer provinces have nicer roads.

I live on Vancouver Island, spend my share of time in Van, GPS is good for that. What city is easy to drive around except for Calgary, they di a not bad job. You've obviously never spent alot of time travelling Canadas highways, we do have a great network of rest stops with all the ammenities and views, rest stop maps available on several apps aswell as road cams you can access to see weather conditions especially for travelling Hells Gate, the Coquihalla, etc during different seasons, as they can be pretty deadly, they're even opening up more free wifi at these stops and parks. I do travel alot by road, spent my life on these highways from Van, to Thunder bay, north and south. 30kmh is school zones speed, most hwys are 90-120 kmh, citys are 50-70kmh.

yes canada has great views but one time had to go to the restroom and i drove like 10 miles (16 kilometers)and I ended up just going into a gas station to pee in canada.

As a youth I used to play alot of hockey in Seattle, and golfed quite a bit in Mn and N.Dakota a few years back. However, unfortunately due to my misspent youth and criminal past, I can no longer "legally" cross the border, currently the only place I'd like to go is the SEMA show anyways in November is about all I really care for. My interest currently lie with visiting Europe with family and Carribean in winter
