You can't get natural herd immunity from vaccines. Natural immunity is only obtained by being exposed to the virus and overcoming it on your own.
Most vaccines are only partially effective for a short amount of time.
RNA virus vaccines (like the flu or covid-19) are rarely effective at all.

Numbers are way off at just 10k, but herd immunity yes why not.

Just a starting point for discussion. What is a realistic number of nurses that could be pulled from workforce to focus on mass immunizations? What daily rate of immunization per nurse is possible? A few variables are at play here. Does anybody have a plan to pull this off? What about paperwork/administration at the patient level?
Or is it just assumed everyone goes to own doctor or pharmacy? How does that affect everyday healthcare in doctor offices?

Somehow I don’t think this has ever been pulled off on such a large scale before. With the government running the program, it is bound to turn into a circus.

Not to mention the cost of all this. Natural herd immunity is free.

Yeah we're on the same page. I just thought you might have gotten a bit more accurate on your nurses number.
My wife has been diagnosed positive and is in quarantine right now. Very minor symptoms she has had, very similar to flu with aches in parts of her body and mild headache. She is a nurse so probably picked it up a bit easier than the rest of us.

Best wishes and prayers for a swift recovery for your wife. She will be part of the herd immunity!

There's a study out that shows 100% of people that died from Corona-virus had vitamin D deficiency. Why not give her vitamin D supplements?

She is doing alright thanks, it's probably mostly beaten. As she is not in any of the risky age, health or lifestyle groups which are going to exacerbate symptoms.
I already told her to make her own Vitamin D. And as usual for her she goes "oh well I should get some vitamin D tablets" This was earlier in the week before positive diagnosis.
Her condition is very mild overall and the only thing apart from mild pain reliever is believe it or not Vitamin C. The C, I would assume for it's anti inflammatory action on blood vessel and body in general.
Staying in side of course has been another one of those great aids in reducing peoples immune system responses. So it comes as no suprise to learn that there is a link between morbidity and low levels of Vitamin D. As I think you know Vitamin D can arrest the multiplication of any and all viruses in the human body. So it's probably why we were made with the ability to synthesize ourselves a natural protectant from infectious diseases.
