The 25th Amendment and Impeachment may as well be constitutional dead-letter. The requirements for removal are far too strict to actually work in a hyperpartisan era.

And there are no procedures set forth in the Constitution prohibiting an Administration from obstructing every attempt to investigate it. Including obvious no-brainers like Presidents should have to go under oath to answer Impeachment charges, let alone attend their own damn Senate Impeachment trial rather than following the proceedings from home via Fox News and tweeting about it.

Nixon is looking all the better these days for at least having the decency to resign when caught red-handed.

I guess our Founders and the generation that ratified the 25th Amendment couldn't have foreseen a law-shirking egomaniac like Trump.
