Have you heard of Padre Ulivo and His Guests, by Peter Lum? It's about a man who cheated death twice, once by getting him stuck in a chair, and once by getting him stuck in a cherry tree. When he had run out of tricks, he finally relented and was sent on the road to Heaven. So if I had the opportunity, I'd probably pull some sort of trick on death like that. But if I can't, then I know where I'm going.
