Funny, I just looked up Fresno as a random pick.
Besides having a population slightly larger than an entire quarter of the Borough of the Bronx, it is majority Democrat (albeit by not that big of a margin). Yay, they have a Republican Mayor, who went rather draconian with the Corona Lockdown.
I stopped reading after that.
This meme is dead, so I ain't gonna bother with the drones. But by some weird coincidence, the higher the number of people, the higher the number of crimes.
NYC is still the safest big city in the USA.
Big bad Chicago, when listed according to violent crime RATES as opposed to crime tallies, slips farther down the ladder.
The State with the highest per capita violent crime rate? Alaska. Imagine if they weren't frozen under 20 ft of snow for 3/4 of the year and if those people actually didn't have to fly a plane to visit their neighbors.
Also, many Southwestern States are, as they always have been, rather far more dangerous than cities. Somewhere between who settled there, the spread of the population waiting half an hour for the sheriff to arrive, and vast acreage to dispose of unwanted body parts makes it prime real estate for criminal elements, as many a serial killer can testify.
Shit, this was supposed to be a quick note, haha.
