If you can't see the partisan politics behind extending lockdowns 3 months out, or the politics behind pushing opening child care in Kentucky out to the middle of June, if you can't see the partisan politics of keeping abortion clinics, lotto tickets, pot stores, and liquor stores open but a dude can't run his yard mowing business then I have to assume you're obtuse.
I looked up a list of states and when they're opening and when they're opening or not and it was hilarious. 90% of states with Democrat governors are locked down, 90% of states with Republican governors have taken steps to open up in phases.
In particular, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania all have Democrat governors, Republican controlled legislatures, and were fundamental in Trump winning the presidency. Take a look at what the governors are trying to do in those 3 states.
Some of this is ideological and leftists not being able to resist exerting government power over their state because they think their citizens are slack jawed morons or they feel this is an actual chance to transform the US into a true socialist state where the public is totally dependent on the government for survival.
All of these Democrat governors sent COVID-19 positive patients back to nursing homes. Why? With everything we knew, what in the hell would motivate you enough to DO that as a governor?
How is it that Florida is a bigger state now than New York with exponentially more elderly yet the death totals in New York are staggering yet the death tolls in Florida are not?
It wasn’t BBQs. It wasn’t people taking a walk in their neighborhood sans face mask. It was GOVERNMENT POLITICIANS FORCING COVID-19 PATIENTS INTO UNINFECTED NURSING HOMES.
The death certificates should read “Cause of Death: Dumbass Democrats” not COVID-19.
