I live in Seattle, WA and have both cerebral palsy and epilepsy and I am on disability payments so I guess I already have two strikes against me according to some members here on imgflip because I live in a progressive leaning state and I have to rely on that dreaded socialism/entitlements to make it through the day.

what i am trying to convey is that we need all the help we can get
if we act like others we are no better than them with the insults
just the other day i was trying to explain how government works to someone on the left because he was making an ass of himself
he called me a trumptard
i never voted for the man and never will
i see the guy that called me that posts daily and the to middle of the road voter he looks like an ass
i am a left voter and he looks like an ass

there is also another guy here that is very damaged in his thoughts
I corrected him when he was wrong on something and he also called me trumptard and much worse

we are supposed to be the politically correct party and the insult trumptard is not pc
people will say that they do it so we do it back
we are supposed to be better than that also so two wrongs equal one right

You're right, and I think I know the guy you are talking about. I interacted with him once to make the point that he should calm down, even when talking to the other side. He told me to get lost (in more colorful language than that), even after I explained I wasn't a Trump supporter.

I'm from the north but have lived in Georgia for many years now. I'm a scientist and educator. Like most states, I think, many people here were not prepared financially for an extended period of crisis. They want to work so they can buy food, pay bills, and make rent or house payments. They seem to understand that that will mean a larger number of deaths on top of the already horrific number.

Most people shopping in the supermarkets here do not wear masks and are not respecting the distancing measures.

It seems that reopening could occur safely here if everyone was devoted to doing so in a way that respects safety guidelines. But the leadership is greatly lacking in Georgia as in DC, and many people follow the leader here.

I was talking about the leadership role to a colleague the other day
she is very heavily in politics also lawyer and retired judge
she has worked for the bidens gores and mrs clinton
she said unless we do marshall law or states give up their rights that the states are in charge of their area
she is by no means a trump supporter at all but she said that the states have to take responsibility
if they cant handle it they must ask for trump to take over and do we want that

i am sure there is things i left out she was quoting codes and statutes left and right but basically each governor is still the one to congratulate or blame for now
