He's at fault because he thought he could keep some of these people around and they'd do the right thing. He was trying to pull a Washington by having people from both political parties advising him. He doesn't understand that leftists have a scorched earth policy.

He was incompetent in not firing all the sleazebag Obama holdovers on day one, that I'll give you. Still more competent than Hilldawg would have been as prez.
I don't believe that he's incompetent. I believe that he did what he was supposed to and that is defer to the experts when he doesn't know something. In this case the experts were wrong and in fact were part of the cause of the problem.
No one can know everything about everything. Its just an impossibility. The job of the experts is to give the president enough information to make informed decisions. They failed this time.
