Who said anything about alternative facts?
btw, when the "facts" presented by the media are not true, some other form of facts, meaning the actual facts, needs to be made known to the public.
For example, on the most recent episode of 60 Minutes they said that the theory that the Wuhan Bat virus may have originated in a lab, has been debunked. 1) they didn't say who debunked it, and 2) it's not been debunked. But people will blindly believe that because they trust 60 Minutes when they shouldn't, and a certain segment of the population wants to believe *anything* as long as it's anti-Trump or can be spun into being anti-Trump.
60 Minutes also said that Mike Pompeo has been pushing the "debunked" theory, without playing any clip showing him doing so. Why did they do this? I have a theory about that. It's because he never said it. In typical politician-speak, he has only said things like he supports whatever view our intelligence community currently holds.
Sorry to go off on a jag here, but the bottom line on that jag is, until any outside impartial agency can get into the virus lab that is right there in Wuhan, we can't say if the bat virus came from the lab or not. And it's not crazy speculation, or "alternative facts" to suggest it could have accidentally been released from the lab, especially until proven otherwise.
So you may choose to blindly chug down whatever it is about "alternative facts" that you want it to mean, but others who do some thinking and research on their own, likely will not.
