Typically off point, ad hominem attack, Tojo.

Do you ever have anything substantive to offer?

Rebublican voters love recessions. Every republican president going back to Eisenhower has had a recession. Dems? Only one. Carter for 6 months.

Greater than 85% of the months in recession had a Republican in the Whitehouse

So, damaged, if this claim is true, on what basis do the Democrats invigorate the economy so consistently?

What is the underlying, fundamental, core philosophy that the Democrats have used to sustain this incredible economic growth to which you allude?

I'm not a republican, nor a democrat, and I've looked... but I can find nothing other than more taxes and more govt. Only a fool believes those two things make for a healthy economy.

So what is it? I'm asking seriously.

It isn't what the Dems do it is what they don't do.

They don't increase military spending while simultaneously cutting revenue by big tax cuts mostly to the already filthy rich individuals and corporations.

You have bought into the hoax of, if we just cut taxes for the rich people and cut regulations for companies, it will all filter down to the common man.

Look at the historical data.
Dems in the whitehouse have higher gdp.
Lower inflation.
Lower unemployment.
Lower dept to gpd numbers.
Vastly better stock market performance.

JFK through Obama, 58 yrs, 28 yrs for both, using the S&P 500 you would have more than 8 times as much money with the Dem in the whitehouse.

The data tells a story, listen to it.

I agree, in Clinton’s time Fiscal Republicans and budget hawks were the flavor with Fox News as the cheerleader of “fiscal responsibility”

Bush 2 was a big spender, with the Iraq war, fiscal responsibility was put on back burner

Then Obama was left to clean up the mess Bush 2 left, like, savings America from financial bubble of 2008.

Now , with Trump, sky’s the limit, no Republican cares about anything anymore except keeping out of Trumps way and holding on to power.
the damage that’s been done already is legendary.

If Trump wins in November? Forget it! He will have nothing to lose. It would be a dystopian 4 years. So I agree, yes Democrats, for all their faults, are our only hope. Just wish it were Bernie.

The whole recession/boom thing has been brought up multiple times and answered succinctly every time. Here's what happens:
Democrats raise taxes and increase welfare programs, the impact slowly works its way through the system taking 4-8 years to fully impact the incomes of people at the bottom of the system. Right about the time a Republican takes office. The republican lowers taxes and cuts back on welfare and it slowly works its way through the system and a boom happens right about the time they get voted out of office.
Trump got lucky, our economy has slowly gotten faster and faster at reacting to change to the point that Trump just getting elected and the general public having confidence in the economy as Trump lowers regulation and brings in jobs and investors has pushed the economy through the roof. Unfortunately it reacts just as fast to the covid-19 response and is in free fall right now.

The speed is faster now because most of our money is digital and doesn't take days or weeks to change hands. It takes seconds and minutes now.

Trump even makes Bush 2 look absolutely fantastic in comparison. And Bush 2 had us in the worst economic conditions since the great depression.

4 more years of tRUMP would be great depression V2.

I know, it’s incredible how people thought Bush 2, it couldn’t get any worse than this, That yes, it can get worse
Fact is stranger than fiction.
