No, its very sad....whats worse is the fact that we have lost over 700 jobs for every 1 death because we killed our economy to solve a problem largely focused in one city
So jobs come back. People don’t. And the 233k-350k projected to be dead by the end of July (based on the Wharton School model) is what? A mild inconvenience?
By the way, that “one city” drives the nation’s economy. The state of New York (with the city of New York as well as the immediate surrounding counties, in particular) is the largest donor state in the country and its economy dictates whatever bumf**k state you’re currently residing in.
New York State is the largest donor state in the union and New York City and Long Island drive the state’s economy, providing upward of 70% of the state’s revenue. NYC and Long Island are the tip of the spear, so to speak.
The nation’s economy goes the way New York City goes. Name call all you want, that’s a fact. But I wouldn’t expect a knuckle-dragging wannabe cosplayer to understand anything other than DEM-O-CRAT BAD.
NY puts more revenue into the federal government than anyone else and takes a fraction of that out. CA, on the other hand, takes as much as it puts in.
NY goes underwater, the country follows suit, you tool.
