Mandates that's threaten citizens with jail time and or monetary fines for not wearing a piece of cloth that in no way is proven to be effective and preventing infection is a partisan issue.

I'm against jail time (that's counter-productive), and I'm neutral on fines. As for businesses requiring their own employees and any customers wishing to patronize the business to wear masks, I'm 100% okay with that.

Best of all is widespread voluntary compliance, which is why I deliver the message: just wear ya damn masks, folks.
