Conservatives have gotten so entitled, distrustful of government, and frankly unpatriotic (as beholden to the cult-of-Trump as they are) that I think even they would oppose a draft at this point. Which is fine, as we don't need one.
But if we ever had to unite as a country and respond to a real national crisis, I fear for our country given our partisan divisions.
Oh, wait... We're going through one of those crisis things right now! And how are we holding up?
