Though one small change, if I may? Democratic governors seem quite comfortable imposing a fine or prison time to those who break from proper lockdown guidelines. This is where my conservative rage kicks in.

Yes, some of these people are morons, yes they are endangering lives, but at the same time; it just seems like overkill to lock them up (and infect others) or fine them (while the economy is tanking.)

Jail time I’m against, since locking people up in a confined unsanitary space is obviously counterproductive in fighting a pandemic.

Fines I’m okay with.

It’s not a great solution, since a lot of folks are hurting financially, but I guess it’s the best we got. Some people need a “stick.” The “carrot” of saving other lives, and possibly their own, isn’t enough.
