Even if he said what the MSM is saying, where is the article of the masses dying from doing this? We literally have millenials eating tide pods... So why isn't there a bunch of stories about people "cloroxing" themselves? Not a single story though... Shame when you got a solid narrative but nobody willing to back it up.

No the point is exactly that. For starters, in the actual quote, he didn't actually suggest anyone does that, so the premise was always false to begin with.

Furthermore, the point is that the fake news channels that aired their narratives are only working with people that would never dare do anything Trump says. So again, how is it damaging? It isn't. This is why it is all a waste of time. Nobody is actually buying the MSM's narrative and nobody with a brain watched his actual press conference and took cloroxing themselves as a takeaway.

News cycles move rapidly, America’s have short memories. Today it’s pence refusing to wear a mask in a hospital. Tomorrow? Who knows? It’s when they repeat a narrative over and over again do people remember for example, Benghazi is the best candidate. Ask a 60 year old Fox viewer and about Benghazi and he probably could tell you a great deal. Otherwise, especially with msm, on to the next news cycle.
