I and others might take you a little more seriously if you didn't try to be so cute, so edgy by using the tired old "faux news" trope...

I hope you know I have nothing but mad props for you prankster! And, that was my first reaction, too. But as I thought about it, I decided that unlike the snowflakes, I would hold myself to a higher standard. The written word is a limited medium in terms of fully communicating intent, so if I don't want to be like they are, I have to go by exactly what they write. I would like them to do that with me, though they rarely, if ever, do.

Fair enough...to a point. You have to always consider the source. If it is from someone whom you've never heard from before or someone you've exchanged discourse with and has a track record of at least being an honest broker of opinion, then you give them the benefit of doubt. However, if it is from a totally dishonest broker of opinion and a total asshole, like Sewmymindshut, then all they deserve is ridicule, and lots of it.

While I've already agreed with you, that you never criticized Trump regarding a "cure", it does seem to make your original bitching about him much ado about nothing. Just what the hell is your bitch with him if you're not criticizing him for saying it was a cure?

That doesn't mean you're not 100% knee-jerk against anything Trump is for, and 100% knee-jerk for anything that Trump is against.

I have to admit, I can't think of anything to say about a mind that operates in such a reactionary, limited way, because I can't begin to fathom how a mind like that even works.

You proceed from a good/bad, either/or, us/them paradigm. You can't process anything that would disrupt the oversimplication that is your world.

I forgot that I had asked you, eyes shut, about the clinical trials. I guess neither of us knows, or even cares enough to check into it. Sort of makes the original meme (and possibly your first reply) a big old 'nothing berder', hey?

Hi Elvi, Here's what i wrote in regard to another similar meme which gives some explanation of the trial that they refer to but best go find the paper and read yourself. I was writing from my memory of the paper on the study.

He forgets to tell you or as he has TDS he hasn't read papers from the study or isn't interested to understand or inform anyone the parameters of the study as it contradicts the narrative "hydroxychloroquine doesn't work". The MSM of course have mostly avoided details that would inform but I guess they can be excused because most people wouldn't know what the extra info meant anyway.

The study involved like 65 veterans who where predominately male and black, all had pre-existing conditions resulting in comorbidities as the actual correct cause of death in all cases including the non treated and Pre-existing Diabetes and Heart issues were a feature of all in the sample.

Sample group was probably chosen to produce contradictory information to studies conducted elsewhere and could not be considered an example of the general population. Given that it was already well established that a potential side effect of HCQ was heart arrhythmia and all cohorts in study had various heart conditions. I dont think conspiracy theory would be applicable, it appears quite simply as conspiracy fact that they chose to conduct this trial on such a flawed non representative sample of society. Just about anyone who investigated Hydroxychloroquine would know about the side effects of HCQ and be aware of the potential for arrhythmia. It's a well established possibility learnt from the trials and prescription of the drug for other conditions.
Now some one prove to me that the doctors in charge of the study did not or would not know all that and that it wouldn't severely prejudice the results.
