Liberals would buy the oil when it costs more.

Saudi Arabia and Russia were trying to crash our economy by flooding the market with cheap oil. By purchasing it, and using it to restore the nations strategic reserves - Trump averted an energy market crash. The strategic reserve sits there, doing nothing. The market continued to purchase American oil.

And yet now they need a bailout days after Trump boasted he saved the industry. Yeah, i get it.

He bought them weeks of time. They would have needed a bailout in March had he not put a stop to the Saudi/Russian shenanigans.

He did not buy them weeks of time. He bought them maybe a week.
