The reason a new album never came out is because Slash is a guitarist. Not a musician. He didn’t write a single note of any of Guns n Roses hits. He thinks he is a musician, but the music he writes is crap. If it wasn’t for that GNR would’ve had at least 2 or 3 more albums.

Yes, but pictures like this one are deceiving. Slash, literally, did not write one single note of November Rain. Not one. He was given the music to play. Yes, he is one of the very few people that ever lived that could play it, but he is only playing it. He is not a songwriter. And out of all the members of the original band, he wrote the least of the music. People love him too much to admit that Slash’s solo work and Velvet Revolver work is total garbage. If Slash was a talented musician, they would never need to have a GNR reunion. He would have continued writing hits like Sweet Child O Mine and November Rain. The reason he never did, was because he never wrote a hit. He just played the guitar in hit songs that he didn’t write. He, unfortunately, for the world believed he wrote the songs he was given to play, because he was given rights to most of them as if he wrote them. It is a shame, but the 14 years between the last official Guns N’ Roses release, Sympathy for the Devil, and the Slashless Chinese Democracy, proved Slash wouldn’t be able to write one single hit song if his life depended on it.

Rock n Roll literally died with him.
