No I'm not saying that. In fact, it's interesting you bring this up. New York has by far the largest amount of cases. It's not even close, something like 7,500 cases per million. New York started stay at home orders two days after California did, and California has 10x less cases per million and far less cases period, even though California has 18million more people.
So what you would be saying is because new York waited two days longer than California did to start stay at home orders, that's why they have the problem they have? That doesn't pass the smell test given the virus has a delay of more than 5 days for symptoms to show.
