Here’s a blank one for you to play around with, or search all memes for “political ideologies w/ world leaders.”
You can certainly quibble with some of these placements. I’m not sure when the chart was made, and it may be due for an update. For example, with Venezuela’s total economic collapse and decent into authoritarianism under Madura, I think hindsight would suggest bumping Hugo Chavez farther to the top-left.
Though it may not satisfy everyone, a chart like this still really helps situate the debate. Americans debating politics will toss around terms like “Leftist,” “Nazi,” or “Commie” all the time, and label their opponents as such, without a true understanding of what they mean. This chart helps show that Sanders is not a “Communist,” for example.
If Biden 2020 were on this chart, then he’d be about where I circled myself. To the left of Obama ‘08, but to the right of Bernie Sanders.
Obama himself acknowledged this in his endorsement video of a couple days ago, when he said that if he were running today, he would not run on the same platform that he did in ‘08. He would go farther.

Yes, without question the Democratic Party has moved to the left over the past decade. But I believe the scope of that movement has been much-exaggerated by Republicans, who often fail to see that their own party has moved to the right by an equal if not greater amount.
Another update I’d make to this chart: After the disgustingly cynical impeachment saga and Trump’s retaliation against Sondland and Vindman, I’d bump Donald Trump even farther in the Authoritarian direction.
