If you had any ability to be objective, you might recall that the border wall project has been one of the most contentious issues Trump has faced. You are so ignorant, that you act like he didn't even try, because that fits your blind, anti-Trump narrative.

But since you're dumb enough to believe that he hasn't even tried to keep this promise, likely due to your health condition (chronic TDS), why don't you do some checking on the dozens of other promises he kept? It's probably closer to being in the hundreds when it comes to promises he's kept.

Then, compare that with promises kept by previous presidents. Let's pick one at random.... oh, let's say his predecessor. I seem to recall being promised that:

- my health care premiums would go down under his plan (in my case, they went up 91%)
- if I liked my doctor, I could keep my doctor
- the prison at Guantanamo Bay would be closed

So for your one example of a promise Trump tried to keep, but was blocked by deranged snowflakes, we have three promises that I was able to rattle off without even doing any research, that president Obama flat out lied to us about.

I'll gladly take Trump's promise keeping rate over president Obama's, and other presidents as well, all day long, and as the saying goes, twice on Sunday.

Your meme is dumb, and invalidated.

Further to my first response, over five years and three months ago your beloved Obama was warning about the certainty of their being, one day soon, a global pandemic - and of the need to be prepared for it. Contrast that with what Trump has said and done over the course of this current infection - and tell me who speaks truth and who speaks lies and ignorance.

If Obama was so certain about it, why did he do virtually nothing to prepare the country for it?

You're American, I'm not. I have no idea what Obama did or did not do. I do know that Trump said that no-one could have foreseen a pandemic - when Obama did precisely that just a few years previously. One of Trump's problems is that he seems to make up the "truth" as he goes along just to suit his present narrative. If you think that it is "adult" to take flat-out lying from your favourite political leader as if it was a necessary medicine, then good luck to you. You'll need it. I guess 1930s Germans felt much the same way.

Quotes from posts by flyingvic:

"...over five years and three months ago your beloved Obama was warning about the certainty of their being, one day soon, a global pandemic"

"I have no idea what Obama did or did not do"

Well, there you have it. Snowflake flyingvic is not an American, and after stating something that Obama did, he then states he has no idea what Obama did or did not do.

I get it. Many of us here on the flip post so many comments, that it's hard to keep them straight. That's why it is helpful to actually a foundation, a core set of values, from which you base your opinions, and the posts that come from those opinions. When you don't do that, we get what we see here, which is contradictory posts, due to having knee-jerk reactions against whomever you're having a conversation with.

You do realize that you've just blown whatever tiny bit of credibility you had, right?

And that's not even taking into account that your original meme and subsequent comments were about US domestic policy, which as a foreigner, you should shut up about. Do I have opinions about what goes on in France, or the UK, or Spain, or Germany? These are countries I have visited, enjoyed and admired in many respects, and know a little bit about, but I would never presume to tell them how their countries should be run.

So even if you've spent considerable time in the US, just STFU.

Sorry, my friend - I thought you might understand English. I have seen the video evidence of Obama talking about the next pandemic, whenever that might happen. You replied by asking why then he did nothing about it - which drew my response about not knowing what Obama did or did not do about it. There was a logical sequence there of statement, question and response - from which you appear to have drawn entirely the wrong conclusion. I don't thinki that I amj the one who has lost credibility!

So in your opinion, as an expert of the English language, when you wrote "I have no idea what Obama did or did not do"

you expected me, born and raised in America (but not England) to understand that you meant that you "have seen the video evidence of Obama talking about the next pandemic..."... really?

Clearly, you are a special kind of ignorant.

I take it back, you haven't lost any credibility. You cannot lose what you never had.

Your ability to express yourself with any accuracy through written communication is clearly limited.

Like I said, just STFU.

Yes, that's exactly what I would expect anyone to understand who had moved on from kindergarten. This is exactly what was written in answer to your question: "I have no idea what Obama did or did not do. I do know that Trump said that no-one could have foreseen a pandemic - when Obama did precisely that just a few years previously." Do try to keep up. And if you could avoid repeated use of profanities then that would be a real bonus.

Seriously? You ignorant troll You're going to stick to your guns when you said something that only has one meaning, but clearly expect me to somehow divine what you subsequently claim you meant?

Sorry ignorant troll, words do not work that way. As an expert of the English language, you should know that. Be gone, ignorant toll! I am done with you.

Calling someone ignorant in a futile attempt to cover your own ignorance is the sort of stunt that Trump regularly attempts. I am saddened, but not surprised, that his supporters follow suit.

Your'e about the most pathetic, most ignorant imgflip user I've had to deal with in quite some time. And that's really saying a lot, because I've dealt with BlueNinja, VagabondSouffle, StanHalen, etc.

I've dealt with almost all of them, and you're the worst because you, when confronted with your own absolutely ignorant, directly conflicted words, in quotes nonetheless, still refuse to admit you're wrong.

Try it sometime. For your own mental health and positive outlook on life, just admit you were wrong when you're wrong. I've done it, and it's quite liberating.

And while we're at it, what a pleasure to listen to someone who is articulate and speaks with intelligence! Hint: the person who feels the need continually to tell people that "I'm smart!" .... isn't.

Dude, you're just going to have to get over Trump's style of communication.

I absolutely wish he was better at communicating, but he isn't.

So it seems to me that your bottom line is you'd rather be lied to in a soothing and calming way, than be told the truth in a way that you find unpleasant.

Maybe that's good for snowflakes, but I prefer to take my medicine like an adult.

What point is that? You're the one who made a simplistic meme. Don't try to pretend like there's more to it now than when you crapped it out.

Memes are only soimplistic to those with simple minds. The point is that Trump is a congenital liar (and womaniser also, like Johnson in the UK, but maybe that's OK with with you. Perhaps you'd like to take Johnson as President? Please?) The point that, as I have said, he makes up his "truth" as he goes along to suit his current narrative. The point that he accuses the Press of "fake news" when they quote his actual words back at him. The fact that he responds to any question that he can't answer by saying, "That's a nasty question." And then makes no attempt to answer it. The point that he went big on "Make America Great Again" baseball caps . . . that were made in China. I could go on - and yes, that's several points, not just one. But he is the most powerful man in the world and he can't tell the truth to save his life. If you don't find that frightening, then perhaps you should.

I have a simple mind? Ouch. Coming from you, that really hurts.

Like I said in what i just posted, you have no credibility, and need to STFU.

You touched base on Obama Care lol...I actually lost my health insurance as a result of the ACA Affordable Care Act my ass even the name was a lie.

Mine went up so much that I was faced with making cutbacks(if ya gross more than $43,000 you don't qualify for the ACA)as I have a morgage, car payment, homeowners insurance/car insurance, property taxes, utilities, credit card payments, aswell as my area has a 10.4% sales tax and it seems that the Democrats in my state just view it's tax paying citizens as a never ending ATM every time they have a new pet project...Well in 2016 I got sick of giving things up that I've worked for and I figured y'all can suckit.

Trump 2020 suck it Dems I'm done working my ass into the ground to fund your projects to give money to people that don't want to work to improve their lives aswell as corporate handjobs to self identified liberal corporations like sound Transit.

BTW there are miles of New wall to see on YouTube.

Have a good one Elvis I enjoy reading your posts.

Thanks Phukit. I feel your pain. Given your sales tax rate, I suspect you live here in Taxifornia, or some other snowflake-run place such as NY/NJ. Isn't it odd how the places with the highest tax rates are always run so poorly?

Somehow I suspect ignorant memers like flingvic either don't, or can't understand what a truly flawed piece of legislation the ACA was. Thank goodness Trump has at least been able to repeal the mandate.

Speaking of which, since when does a person have to be forced to pay for a "right"? (meaning the snowflakes' belief that health care is a right)

Two quotations from the founding father of the UK's National Health Service, the one the Conservative Party appears to be doing its best to dismantle.

“Illness is neither an indulgence for which people have to pay, nor an offence for which they should be penalised, but a misfortune the cost of which should be shared by the community.”

“No society can legitimately call itself civilized if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of means.”

In short, in any country everyone benefits when everyone is healthy.

Fat Elvis, my friend, if you really think that admitting you are wrong is 'liberating' and good for your 'mental health', I can only say that if you've really tried it then it doesn't show very clearly. Maybe you should try it again?

Here's a hint for you towards understanding our conversation: in between the quotes from me that you put in quotation marks, you asked me a question:

"If Obama was so certain about it, why did he do virtually nothing to prepare the country for it?"

The second quote from me was, therefore, an answer to your question and not a contradiction of the first quote. Did this really need spelling out? Again?

I might go further. I now am told that Obama set up a team in the White House specifically to plan for and deal with a pandemic such as we have at present. I also understand that Trump closed the office down and dismissed the team. Which of the two Presidents, do you think, made the more sensible decision?
