pfffft
You seem to be suggesting that the idea of voters voting in order to choose who will represent them in Congress is in no way democratic. Or are you trying to distinguish between democrats and Democrats? Either way you seem to be talking out of your backside. Maybe you're just another Trump supporter . . .
The dictionary by Merriam-Webster is America's most trusted online dictionary for English word definitions, meanings, and pronunciation, or so I am led to believe. When are you going to publish your own dictionary with the definitions that you make up yourself?
And do I really have to point out that if a nation elects representatives then it is participating in a democratic process? I'll leave you to join up the dots . . .
Thanks for commenting, even though you are missing half of the truth and the whole of the point. Merriam-Webster defines democracy as "government by the people", and goes on to suggest that "The United States is both a democracy and a republic." Have a nice day.
