Bruh, sonic is not a rip off of dragon ball, I am actually experienced with gaming history. Sonic came out before Dragon Ball did. Sonic came out in 1991.

The first dragon ball manga came out in 1984 and there are a lot of similarities between sonic and dragon ball like the chaos emeralds and the dragon balls and both main characters goku and sonic have spiky hair. And they both have golden super forms where goku turns into super saiyan and gets gold spiky hair and supersonic gets spiky hair and and in the dragon ball z episode "transformed at last" aired in Japan in June 19 1991 and yes sonic came out in 1991 but supersonic was later introduced in sonic the hedgehog 2 in 1992 and there are more similarities but the comment will be to long so yeah
