If he decides to extend the closure that affects him, not because he loses his job, but because his citizens continue to go with out an operating economy. If he decides to say the country should open, that affects him as well.

The difference is, 16 million americans lost their job in just under a month. And the decision to open the country is not something he is considering only from his own standpoint.

i thoroughly dislike the Trump we see on tv, but he is human (genetically at least), so it's always possible that the lives he's eliminating and ruining so publicly will bring him to a Scrooge-like epiphany. it's that very thin possibility that lets me not quite hate him (so far).
