Insanity vs Common Sense & Immorality vs Morality.

Maybe what you call unthinkable was just something acceptable that you didn't like.

You mean like living in a police state to slow the spread of a disease that, even according to those panicking, is barely worse than the flu?
It doesn't compute unless
A. COVID19 is far worse than anyone is admitting (the severity of the reaction is not proportional to the severity ofthe supposed threat)
B. The quarantine is being used to cover up something else (my whimsical conspiracy theory is that earth is hosting an intergalactic summit)
C. The quarantine isn't about coronavirus. It's about setting up an oppressive "new normal" that we will readily accept because it isn't quite as oppressive as the quarantine.
