Well, the A.I has a point. Basically, Akira Toriyama wanted Goku to be different to the other Shounen Jump heroes. He wanted Goku to protect earth only because he'd get to fight a strong opponent, meaning he'd cause a lot of trouble by stirring up mischief and putting earth in great danger so he could fight, which is in his Saiyan nature. When he hit his head as a child he basically lost his nature, so to speak. Unfortunately for earth, as Goku grew into an adult it came back to him and was probably brought out with the help of Vegeta. Toei Animation screwed it up and made it so that Goku was a hero. In Dragon Ball Super though, Toei decided to listen to Akira Toriyama and made Goku how he's supposed to be. For example, Goku reminded Zen-Oh about the Tournament Of Power which put all the universes at great risk of death ( one in twelve, probably less because of the mortal level as well as the Grand Priest's favorites ). There are more examples, though.
