The closest numbers available right now uses the total world cases vs total number dead.

I am using the numbers from the CDC for the US . The WHO numbers may be higher because the other countries didn’t have as much information to go on as the US does at this point so more deaths may have resulted, sadly.

Good news is that most have it or have had it and got over it without showing any or minimal signs. The true death rate is very small. Testing produces more confirmations. But it seems odd that we'll go from 4000 dead to 125,000+ in 2-3 weeks.

Half the US will eventually get it. 1.5% of inflected will die. 330m divided by 2 = 115 million x .015 = 1.7 million deaths. That’s my prediction.

That's just ludicrous... but if we do it's due to social distancing for sure... instead of building up herd immunity, we're isolating to allow it to infect more...

It's a stupid flu variant. God gave us the ability to fight it and many already have. If half get it, the vast majority will never even know it.

But if your horror scenario plays out, why are we WORSE than a third world country on this?
