I note you didn't mention the last president. The man who pulled America back from the GOP policy-caused Great Recession. You may have heard of Barack Obama.
Or FDR, who pulled America back from the GOP policy-caused Great Depression.
And Trump never 'went out of business', did he.
Six bankruptcies and stiffing his workers, contractors and suppliers worked well enough for him.
That's probably his plan for America. Bankruptcy.

Wow. Hoover was a leftist Republican. Please, let's not forget that the three presidents leading up to the Great Depression were Harding, Coolidge and Hoover. All Republican.
And that it was the Republican Party that introduced the bill repealing Glass–Steagall which, combined with lack of proper oversight over derivatives, was the seed of the Great Recession.
And Bush jr's tax break for the rich didn't help much.
Why'd you leave out the part that Morganthau argued for increased taxes, particularly on the wealthy. That he said:
"We have never begun to tax the people in this country the way they should be ... I don't pay what I should. People in my class don't. People who have it should pay."
And I do know the difference between personal and corporate bankruptcy.
To your hero Trump, it was a business strategy, designed to increase his alleged fortune.
By the way, how does a man go bankrupt in a business that the mob skimmed millions upon millions of dollars off the top of, and never had to go bankrupt. Too greedy? Or too stupid.
I await the day he leaves office with great anticipation. As do, no doubt, myriad lawyers; both government and private practice.

If that were true, then you have to admit that his policies did keep many men alive to fight in that war. The Republican Party would gladly have let them all starve. Because in your party's mind, they probably deserved it, right? Some facts:
1930 - GNP falls 9.4% & unemployment rate climbs from 3.2 to 8.7%.
1931 - GNP falls another 8.5 % & unemployment rises to 15.9%.
1932 - GNP falls a record 13.4 percent & unemployment rises to 23.6%.
Roosevelt elected.
1933 - GNP falls only 2.1% but unemployment rises slightly, to 24.9%.
1934 - GNP rises 7.7% & unemployment falls to 21.7%.
1935 - GNP grows another 8.1% & unemployment falls to 20.1%.
1936 - GNP grows a record 14.1 & unemployment falls to 16.9%.
1937 - GNP rises 5.0% & unemployment falls to 14.3%.
Roosevelt falls to (no doubt Morganthau involved) pressure to reduce spending,
1938 - GNP falls 4.5% & unemployment rises to 19.0 percent.
Then production rises to meet the demands of WWII.
But to say that only WWII ended the depression is a gross canard, and shows your RW bias.
And saying "I didn't mention the last president because he wasn't worth mentioning." displays another type of bias.

The Republican Party then wasn’t the Republican Party today. Stop saying “your party”. Same with the Democratic Party.

Do you mean because the racists switched from the Dem party to the Republican party?

There are racists on both sides. The ones that people notice more are the white racists. Funny you use the race card. The left likes to pull that card a lot. They act racist at times. Remember during the oscars and the golden globes, some people (notably celebrities) complained that too many white people were winning too many awards? Pretty funny if you ask me.

So you are saying there are Republicans in Antifa, and skinhead Dems.
Put down the bong.

You assert "It was WORLD WAR TWO that brought America out of the Depression...NOT FDR's policies."
Then say ""Facts" without context are meaningless."
Could you tell us which books, which authors are the final arbiters giving you the right to 'explicitly' tell us what 'is or isn't true'.

Wow! ALL of them. Every damn one of them. Not one naysayer.
So everything I've ever read has been propagated by the Deep State. Or the predecessor of the Deep State. From back in the 50s.
C'mon. Give us a name or two of your authors with god-like power to 'explicitly' tell us anything.
And you probably didn't notice other folk's comments here because you only see your own.
You should follow Shakespeare's advice:
"Assume a virtue if you have it not."
We all know that with you, 'you have it not', so give it a try. Might like it.

I have invited you to name some of the books you've allegedly read.
But for some reason, you refuse to name even one.
I'll tell you one I've read, 'Atlas Shrugged'.
And you know what sport? It's the Republican Party who are the Looters.
And I proffer that Nancy Pelosi is Dagny Taggart, and Trump is James Taggart,
"This was the stamp James Taggart had dreaded, from which there was no
escape: the stamp and proof of objectivity. "No . . ." he said feebly once
more, but it was no longer the voice of a living consciousness.
He stood for a moment, staring blindly at space, then his legs gave way,
folding limply, and he sat on the floor, still staring, unaware of his action
or surroundings." This will be Trump on the evening of Nov. 3rd.
Another book is 'Catch-22', in which Milo Minderbinder represents your Capitalist Conservative Republican.
He sees no problem contracting with the Germans to bomb his own base for profit.
Profit. The GOP's god.

"go read several books."? I have asked repeatedly for your recommendations, which you refuse to do. Either you haven't read them as you claim, or you know I will find them written by conservative hacks and toadies.
You complain that I refer to 'your party', seeming to infer that you aren't a Republican.
If you aren't a Republican, why do you vehemently support the useless sack occupying the Oval Office? If he's such a successful billionaire, why is he asking to delay payment?
Watch for his new book: 'The Art of the Delay'.
"Bloomberg and the New York Times are reporting that roughly two weeks into the shutdown, Donald Trump is already having to ask Deutsche Bank to delay loan payments owed by the Trump Organization."
https://www.palmerreport.com/analysis/deutsche-bank-bombshell-reveals-donald-trump-really/27259/
As J. Paul Getty put it, "If you owe the bank $100 that's your problem. If you owe the bank $100 million, that's the bank's problem." And boy, do they have a problem with Trump.
Esp. when the truth about those loans comes out.
As for using books of fiction, there is more truth in fiction than many histories.
But of course, in Trump World, imgflip.com/gif/3i8g0m
